An agoraphobic singer has released her first single after becoming a YouTube sensation - despite not leaving her house for THREE YEARS.

Jemma Pixie Hixon, 21, has become a global star despite suffering from a crippling fear of the outdoors.

Largely unknown in the UK, she is a household name in China and the Far East and has attracted nearly 12 million views on the internet.

She creates her music in a makeshift studio in her bedroom in Malvern, Worcestershire, where she lives with her parents.

Her first single, Never Let Go, was released last week. The instrumental was produced by DJ5parks while Jemma recorded her vocals on a laptop at home.

She hopes it will help highlight the plight of others affected by agoraphobia.

Jemma said: 'It would be amazing if people bought my single, it does have chart eligibility, so it's up to everyone who's supported me and followed me to help make the single do as well as possible.

'It would be a huge honour if it did well and I hope it would inspire other agoraphobics, or anyone at all for that matter, that you don't have to give up or let anything get in the way of your dreams.'

Jemma started suffering panic attacks when she was just six years old and her condition spiralled when she left school at 16 and had no daily routine of leaving the house.

She last left her house three years ago and has not gone further than the garden gate ever since.

Jemma explained: 'When I have an attack I feel really short of breath and it's like my heart is going to explode. I literally feel like I'm going to die.

'It's a strange thing because I know logically I have nothing to worry about walking out of the house but it's a completely different thing when I actually try and do it.

'After I left school I didn't really have any reason to get me out of the house so it was easy for me to stay in.

'I wanted to go to university but couldn't because of my condition. It's had a huge affect on my life.'

Jemma - who lives with her property developer mum Tonia, 50, and dad Mark, 49, in their six-bedroom detached house - uses a microphone, webcam and Apple Mac to produce and broadcast her music.

She started by uploading cover versions of songs onto YouTube but has since progressed to producing her own material.

Jemma is now well-known in China and last year won the coveted 'most viewed' video of the month in the whole of the country.

She has seen dozens of psychologists and hypnotherapists but no one has been able to cure her agoraphobia.

The young star hopes to one day be able to perform outside of her bedroom again, and feels that music is what makes her happiest.

She added: 'Music is the thing that helps me escape and makes me happy, whether it's singing, writing or simply listening to it.

Jemma Pixie Hixon, Human, singer, a YouTube sensation, not leaving her house for THREE YEARS, a crippling fear of the outdoors, Malvern, Worcestershire, Jemma Pixie Hixon biography
'When I'm feeling particularly anxious I like to try to focus on writing a sort of stream of consciousness which I then adapt into lyrics.

'Singing is something that keeps me going and something I have done since I can remember.'

The single is available from sites such as iTunes, Amazon and HMV.

Kirstie Mouncey is New Miss Big Beauty Woman International

GAZING at her reflection, Kirstie Mouncey places a tiara on her head and gives a dazzling smile to the mirror.
Like many other girls, 17-year-old Kirstie dreams of being crowned a beauty queen.
But the childcare assistant is not like most teenagers in Britain.
Kirstie Mouncey, Miss Big Beauty Woman, New Miss Big Beauty Woman International, Big moment ... teenager, Miss Big Beautiful Woman Largest, Miss Big Beautiful
She weighs 26½st, is a dress size 32 and has a body mass index (BMI) of 68, making her morbidly obese.
However, the blonde teenager is determined that her colossal size won’t get in the way of her beauty pageant dreams.
Kirstie is the youngest and largest entrant in Miss Big Beautiful Woman (BBW) International and is competing against 300 other large ladies for the crown.
The competition is the first of its kind, with plus-sized women from all over the world auditioning to be part of the pageant’s London-based final in November.
Kirstie, from Hull, insists she LOVES her body and hopes she will beat the other contestants to win the title.
She says: “When I was growing up I always dreamed of being a beauty queen.
"Now, thanks to big women being acknowledged for their beauty, my dream can finally come true.
"I may be a big girl but I’ve learnt to love myself and I want to show other big teenagers that they can be beautiful too.
"Big girls — even 26st girls like me — can be pageant princesses as well.
"Some people will probably criticise me, but I’m not here to promote obesity. I just want women to feel confident about their body, as I do.
"I don’t criticise skinny women in beauty pageants, so I don’t think it’s fair to make the BBW pageant contestants feel bad just because we are big.”
At 5ft 3ft Kirstie has a BMI three times that of an average woman, but she has not always been confident about her curves.
She says: “I started gaining weight from age six and would binge on biscuits and crisps. The bigger I got, the crueller other kids would be, which made me take comfort in food.
"Food made me feel safe and loved. I was embarrassed to eat in front of anyone because people would tease me.
"So I ate bad foods in private. It was a spiral that made my weight increase very quickly over the years.”
By the age of ten, Kirstie weighed 11st and by 14 she had ballooned to 20st.
She explains: “I had low self-esteem, I comfort ate, and got larger and larger.
"Children at school bullied me relentlessly and I hated it.
"I dreaded certain classes, like PE because I had to get undressed. Instead of changing in front of the other girls, I’d barricade myself in the toilet cubicle to put on my PE kit.
"Girls can be very cruel and I was an easy target.
"Every teenage girl wants to look like a supermodel. I looked the opposite. But I am not after sympathy — it’s just how my life has been.”
From the age of 15, Kirstie threw herself into dieting.
She tried soup diets, shake diets, Weight Watchers and even the controversial baby food diet.
She says: “I tried every fad diet going, but I never stayed on them for very long. If I’d had a bad day, my self-esteem would plummet and I’d turn to comfort eating. Any weight I lost, I put back on again.”
As the biggest girl in her class, Kirstie dreaded her school prom.
Kirstie Mouncey, Miss Big Beauty Woman, New Miss Big Beauty Woman International, Big moment ... teenager, Miss Big Beautiful Woman Largest, Miss Big Beautiful
But after spending more than £300 on a silk purple diamante and crystal covered prom dress, her confidence grew.
This was the night she finally began to accept her size 32 frame.
She recalls: “I remember looking in the mirror and thinking that I looked gorgeous. Everyone said so.
"It was my dream prom and that silk dress will be one of my pageant dresses. I can’t wait to wear it on the catwalk.”
Another reason for Kirstie’s increased self-esteem was meeting “fat admirer” Alex Boakye, 29, online in November 2010. The pair got chatting on a forum for BBW women to meet fat admirers.
Kirstie and Alex, from Hammersmith, west London, started messaging each other and met a month later when Alex travelled to Hull.
She says: “I was nervous about meeting Alex for the first time but we got on so well.
"He likes me for who I am and he’s my soul mate.”
Alex, a retail assistant, admits he is a fat admirer and 26st Kirstie is his dream girl. He says: “I love the scale of big girls — the way they look and carry themselves.
"Kirstie has a special radiance about her. When we’re out together, we might get some odd looks, but we just concentrate on each other and no one else.”
With her new-found confidence, Kirstie heard about the pageant on a forum for BBW and knew she had to enter.
She explains: “Within a year I’d gone from being a shy and bullied girl to a confident and proud woman.
"I wanted to show off my curves and represent BBW teens around the world.”
Last month, Kirstie auditioned for the Miss BBW International pageant, which was created by Linda Koch, herself a plus-size lady.
Linda says: “We’ve had over 300 girls enter from all over the UK and the world.
"Contrary to what people might think, we are not promoting being fat or obesity.
"We provide a platform for plus-size people to feel good about themselves.
Kirstie Mouncey, Miss Big Beauty Woman, New Miss Big Beauty Woman International, Big moment ... teenager, Miss Big Beautiful Woman Largest, Miss Big Beautiful
"Kirstie is an inspiration and braver than most women.”
During the finals, contestants will all be asked to model day wear, beach wear and ball gowns. They will be judged in interview technique, mission statements and modelling ability.
While the pageant may celebrate the lives of obese women, the nation is aware of how dangerous binge eating can be.
Kirstie has been following the tragic story of Georgia Davis, 19, who was cut free from her home in Aberdare, weighing 56st.
Now Georgia is in hospital and getting 24-hour care from nurses. Kirstie says: “I do feel terribly sorry for Georgia. She must have been desperately unhappy to get so big, but there is always a reason people comfort eat.
"I know what it’s like to be bullied and can only imagine her suffering.
"When she’s better and out of hospital, she should attend one of the BBW parties.
"It would help build her confidence and she might even meet a nice fat admirer.”
Now that she loves her curves, Kirstie will only diet for health reasons.
She says: “I’d like to lose a bit of weight and not get out of breath when I walk up stairs, but I will never be Kate Moss.
"I don’t have any diseases to do with being obese. I feel healthy and I am a big girl and proud of that.”
The teenager also harbours an ambition to model plus-sized clothes and design her own range for big teens.
"BBW is a growing phenomenon and I find it so hard to find clothes to fit.
"There’s a gap in the market — bigger women want to feel pretty and sexy too.
"I want to inspire other teen girls who are bullied because they are big.
"I urge people not to judge me simply because of my size. I accept all people so I hope they accept me.”

Annie Hawkins-Turner -Worlds Biggest Natural Boobs

THIS Morning made a big boob again today – by interviewing the woman who holds the record for having the largest natural breasts in the world.
Annie Hawkins-Turner, Biggest Natural Boobs, Natural Boobs, Big tit, Annie Hawkins-Turner big tit women, Worlds Biggest Natural Boobs, big boob in the world, tits
Annie Hawkins-Turner, who is better known by her pseudonym Norma Stitz, showed off her whopping 102ZZZ assets, which weigh a massive eight stone, making her a Guinness World Record holder.
The 52-year-old told Phillip Schofield and Jenni Falconer how she’s constantly been taunted over her mammoth cleavage since her bust started growing when she was nine.
Annie, from Atlanta, Georgia, said: “I never knew I was different. I was just growing up and I was just a regular girl around the neighbourhood.
“So I didn’t know I was different until I’d gone into the classroom and couldn’t sit at the desk. And when I went to gym class and couldn’t do two jumping jacks because of the flapping and the muscles on my back.”
The mum-of-two, who said she got her first bra when she was ten, went on: “I don’t know what size I was. I was just big. The only thing I remember about those bras is they were cotton and they stuck out just like footballs and that’s when I knew I was different.
“Kids are some of the worst people in the world when it comes to picking on people.
“I was teased a lot. I was called fat. I couldn’t dress like other kids and the guys my age didn’t like me. Older men liked me because I was a young girl in an older woman’s body.
“I liked boys in school but the big girl never gets the boys. One guy did like me but he said I couldn’t tell anyone he was talking to me.”
Annie, who said her huge breasts came as a surprise because her mum and sister didn’t have particularly big assets, told how her boobs continued growing when she went to university.
She explained: “Life was difficult then. Even if I had a relationship, which I did eventually get a boyfriend, I never would take off my clothes off in front of him.”
Annie said she used to try to shrug off nasty comments by making a joke out of them.
And she told how her huge cleavage had an impact on her when she had her children Darren and Clara.
She said: “I couldn’t breastfeed, my breasts were too big. I would have smothered my kids. There was no room to lay them. They grew bigger when I was pregnant and I leaked so much until I had to wear sanitary pads in my bra.”
But said she finally really learnt how to love herself and her size after meeting her late husband Alan
They were married for 13 years until he died six years ago.
She said: “He turned my whole life around. He made me love myself and turned me into his Barbie doll. I was like a plus-sized Barbie doll to him. He treated me like a queen. He loved me and he loved my kids. He was my angel, it wasn’t just sexual.”
It was retired air force officer Alan’s idea to send photos of Annie to a magazine, which was when she said her pseudonym Norma Stitz was born.

She said being featured online and in racy magazines made her embrace her size.

She explained: “I fell in love with myself. Every time I get a new doctor they offer me surgery but I don’t need surgery. I’ve got a strong back and have never had back ache. I’ve had therapy on how to hold myself so I won’t hurt myself.
“When I get out of bed I have to roll over so my breasts are hanging off the bed and I get up using my elbow instead of my back.Annie Hawkins-Turner, Biggest Natural Boobs, Natural Boobs, Big tit, Annie Hawkins-Turner big tit women, Worlds Biggest Natural Boobs, big boob in the world, tits
“When I go out of my house I have to think about what my day is going to be like and who is going to attack me today. Every day someone teases me that doesn’t know me. They make fun of me and there’s no reason. I’m human like everybody else. I’m just blessed in different ways than other people. It affects my son very badly because people stare.”
And Annie told how she used her assets to work topless on adult websites – but insists she’s just fulfilling people’s fantasies and would never have sex on camera.
She said: “I’ve shown people big is beautiful and you can be sexy in your own way. It’s not mucky, I’m an entertainer.

“I talk to you, I’m your fantasy. When I talk to you it’s because there are things in your mind that you want to do to me. But in reality you’d never meet me.
“I teach her how to please you and I teach you how to please her.
“I know Alan would be so proud of me. I work for myself. Not only do I have the world record for the world’s largest boobs for the last 12 years but I also have an AVN award which is like an Oscar.
Annie Hawkins-Turner, Biggest Natural Boobs, Natural Boobs, Big tit, Annie Hawkins-Turner big tit women, Worlds Biggest Natural Boobs, big boob in the world, tits
“I’ve done nothing wrong. I don’t have sex on film – I never have and never will.”
And Annie, who says she’s never considered having her breasts reduced, says her massive boobs are STILL growing.
She added: “Sometimes it irritates me when people ask, ‘how do you walk?’ I’m not handicapped. I’ve just got very large boobs which I’ve learned to take and just do marvellous things with.”
Her appearance on the ITV1 daytime show came a month after porn star Chelsea Charms discussed her 164XXX surgically-enhanced assets on the programme.

Photographer Jim Adams - Merges black and white images with modern scenes

With a couple of clicks, photographer Jim Adams from Whidbey Island, Washington, transforms a familiar landscape into a modern marvel.
When Mr Adams comes across a place he finds fascinating, a home, a hill, or an ancient hall, he painstakingly researches the location to find photographs of its former glory.
He then reproduces the original image and overlays it on the newer one, creating fascinating scenes that collapse a century into a single image.
Armed with his Nikon D90, Mr Adams explores the history of his surrounding environment thanks to a spark started by his parents.
'Growing up, my parents always had some kind of camera around for capturing moments,' he writes on his Flickr page.
'I remember 126 cameras, 110 cameras, even Polaroid cameras.'
He devoured photography magazines and began to study the art in high school, where he 'learned how to make photographs, not just snap pictures.'
He went on to attend the Art Institute of Philadelphia to study photography, but dropped out after two years to move to Washington.
'I realized the photography industry doesn't offer many career opportunities,' he said. 'To fund my relocation in 1990, I sold my Nikon F3 gear… a decision I still regret to this day.'
Mr Adams had a successful career in the IT industry for 20 years before he picked up a camera again, and has since dedicated his free time to to turning landscapes into time capsules.
'The concept is to photograph an old photo in the original location the photo was taken while fitting that photograph into the original scene,' he said.
For the images, he finds a historic place and researches it in the public library. Finding old negatives or 8 x 10 prints, he will re-print them.
He will either add the older image to the new one in Photoshop or line up the photograph with the scene with one hand and take a new photo with the other.
The result is an astonishing image that captures both the past and the present in a single shot.

The Annual Mooning of Amtrak

When is it? It occurs the second Saturday in July each year.
It happens all day from approximately 7 am until about 11 pm. For the approximate times of the trains, check out Amtrak's web site is: www.amtrak.com.
The Annual Mooning of Amtrak, Mooning of Amtrak, Annual, Social, SOCIETY, When is Mooning of Amtrak?, Who is in charge?, Orange County Sheriff for the City of Laguna Niguel

Who is in charge? No one. No one organizes or is responsible for this annual event. Everyone who attends helps make it a safe, fun & successful day.

What does the event cost? There is no admission charge

What about the police? Sheriff: As in past years, the area will be patrolled by the Orange County Sheriff for the City of Laguna Niguel. That said, there can be absolutely NO "controlled substances", carrying an alchoholic beverage outside, exposing certain prohibited body parts or hasseling with the sheriff deputies. The deputy people have been very considerate and liberal in the past. Please don't ruin it for the future.

Will there be newspapers & TV cameras? Every year you can count on reporters & photographers from the newspapers and Videographers for TV. They usually come around noon, stick around for an hour or so interviewing people, then leave so they can make their late aftrnoon deadline. How you interact with the press is up to you, but since you are in a public place they have the legal right to take your picture.

What if I want to see it from the train? On the train you'll only be able to photograph or video through the glass windows as the train rolls by. Some train engineers slow down for the event, others speed up (like Metrolink.) Some trains will have windows that open (which will eliminate glare on your photos) but most do not. Amtrak has nothing to do with this "show."

What happens after dark? After 8pm, Night Mooning starts. Bring a flash light with plenty of batteries, or better yet, bring a Coleman propane or gasoline fuel camping lantern. Some bring a wire coat hanger to make a hook to hang your lantern from the chain link fence. The area is dark at night as there aren't any street lights along the road here. Night Mooning is better because: it is less crowded, cooler temperature, and more authentic.
The Annual Mooning of Amtrak, Mooning of Amtrak, Annual, Social, SOCIETY, When is Mooning of Amtrak?, Who is in charge?, Orange County Sheriff for the City of Laguna Niguel

Must I "moon", or can I just watch? No, You can watch.

Does It get hot here in July? Yes, mid-day it is usually about 95°F (35°C) and humid.

Should I bring food & drink? If you wish. Mugs Away Saloon will be serving cold beverages. An outdoor vendor will be grilling hamburgers for sale and another selling souvenir event T-shirts.

Are pets O.K. to bring? Yes, you can bring your dog, cat, snake, parrot, or iguana. Don't forget water for them.

Can I decorate my butt? Yes, that's O.K.

What happens in the saloon? There are two successive bands inside the Mugs Away Saloon from Noon till closing, which is about midnight.

Can the physically handicapped get around this area? Yes, a wheel-chair should work just fine. There are no stairs to climb. Close-in car parking spots may be difficult to find.

Disclaimer: Attending this event may be hazardous due to the large concentration of silly people, cars, motorcycles, motorhomes, concrete vehicle wheel-stops, potholes in the parking-lots and pets. Everyone present is responsible for their own actions. If you trip on something, or hurt yourself, you alone are responsible. There is no one to sue. No one either promotes this nor charges admission. If you do come, act safely! If you're accident prone, go somewhere else where you'll be safer. Neither Mugs Away Saloon, The City of Laguna Niguel nor Amtrak are responsible for this event, nor for assuring your safety. The City & the railroad would rather you didn't bother coming to this event. No one is carrying public liability insurance for this. Besides, would any insurance underwriter insure an event called, "Mooning Amtrak"?

Many many thanks to: The City Council of Laguna Niguel, The Sheriff of Orange County, OCRRA (owners of the rail rightof- way), Metrolink Rail Agency and of course, our beloved AMTRAK, for their tolerance and contemporary open-mindedness.

HOW THE TRADITION STARTED

The best answer the story of the birth of the Mooning tradition, says 20 years ago (1979), at The Mugs Away Saloon, a K.T.Smith told his buddies he'd buy a drink for all who would run outside to the rail road tracks and "moon" the next train, which many did. Word spread, and the local newspaper, The Orange Country Register, ran a story about it. The story attracted more people to the bar, and the tradition began. In order to keep the mooning under control the Orange County Sheriff’s Department made a verbal agreement with the bar not to arrest anyone as long as it only happened one day each year and certain rules of decorum were maintained. The mooning tradition has prevailed, but there is no longer a volunteer to buy free drinks for thousands of "Mooners". Locals estimate that more than 8,000 people annually participate in the tradition. \

The Annual Mooning of Amtrak, Mooning of Amtrak, Annual, Social, SOCIETY, When is Mooning of Amtrak?, Who is in charge?, Orange County Sheriff for the City of Laguna Niguel
AND THE TRADITION CONTINUES!

It occurs the second Saturday in July each year and lasts for but a brief few seconds each hour. At any given time there are bout a hundred people gather along the chain link fence in the parking lot. When that crowd leaves it is replaced by a new group who can’t wait to bare their butts to the next set of passing trains. It is most crowded between 10am and 4pm.

The Annual Mooning of Amtrak, Mooning of Amtrak, Annual, Social, SOCIETY, When is Mooning of Amtrak?, Who is in charge?, Orange County Sheriff for the City of Laguna Niguel
The year we went, there was a definite carnival atmosphere among the crowds of people with cars, camper trucks, motor homes and motorcycles parked all along the street. Some people brought their pets along: I saw dogs, cats, a snake, a parrot, and even an iguana. There was even a guy in a wheelchair, who carefully stood up for a few seconds and dropped his pants as the train rolled by.

The Annual Mooning of Amtrak, Mooning of Amtrak, Annual, Social, SOCIETY, When is Mooning of Amtrak?, Who is in charge?, Orange County Sheriff for the City of Laguna Niguel
“The law enforcement deputies have been very considerate and liberal in the past,” said one non-organizer. “We warn people not to expose anything except their butts to the train. As long as we follow those guidelines, we never get hassled.” Those may be the unofficial rules, but at least once each hour you can count on a pair of female breasts being revealed as well.

The Annual Mooning of Amtrak, Mooning of Amtrak, Annual, Social, SOCIETY, When is Mooning of Amtrak?, Who is in charge?, Orange County Sheriff for the City of Laguna Niguel
For passengers on the train, this also seems to be an anticipated event. The Amtrak line parallels Interstate highway 5, and trains carry passengers between Los Angeles and San Diego. Unlike most Saturdays, the Amtrak cars are filled to near-capacity with passengers to see the "moon show." Most trains actually slow down to half speed as they approach “Ground Zero” so that people with cameras and camcorders can record the view through the large glass windows.

Inside Mugs Away is a wall of photos commemorating the rears of hundreds of people who have participated over the years. The bar also sells souvenir T-shirts and even a DVD movie. Adding to the festivities, a band named the “Moonies” (what else?) plays inside from noon until the last train passes around midnight. During the day the bar serves cold beverages and an outdoor vendor grills hamburgers.

After dark, “Night Mooning” has become popular also. Participants bring flashlights or Coleman propane or gasoline fuel camping lanterns and hang them on the chain link fence with wire coat hangers. Said one mooner, “I like night mooning better because it is less crowded, the air temperature is a little cooler.

Locals claimed that in 26 years they have never made an arrest or ticketed any of the participants, until 2008. That year, police broke up the event after someone complained about public nudity and drinking. Apparantly a very loud pair of drunken women started lifting their tops to the train, and there were a few people who decided to be total nude. No arrests were made, authorities said.

[If you have ever been to the event, this is nothing new. It happens every year and nobody cares. – Ed.]

In anticipation of the 2009 event, the Laguna Niguel City Council approved two new ordinances that will make it unlawful to consume alcoholic beverages in public and urinate in public. According to Laguna Niguel Mayor Robert Ming, “Thousands of rowdy partiers from out of town have forced us to take this action. This event happened for many years without problems, but it has now gotten out of control. We cannot allow a situation where public safety and our local businesses are threatened.”

Mr Falcon told the Huffington Post: “I had my 'stuff' strapped to the left. I wasn't erect at the time.
"One of the guards asked if my pockets were empty and I said, 'Yes.' I said, ‘It’s my d***.
"He gave me a pat down but made sure to go around [my penis] with his hands.
“They even put some powder on my pants, probably a test for explosives. I found it amusing."

The £200,000 structure is designed to save the lives of stranded climbers who are caught in blizzards and replaces a shabby wooden hut.

It opened this year after a build process which saw helicopters airlifting parts into place.

The hostel - commissioned by the Italian Alpine Club - sits close to the border for climbers who are crossing a popular route between the French side of the Alps and the Italian.

Reservations have to be made online and it is expected it will cost just £23 a night to stay there.

A spokesman for the designers said: “The refuge is a great achievement.

“The materials used are of a high standard and they are capable of handling the extreme temperatures.

“We wanted a modern futuristic look and that’s exactly how it’s turned out. The previous wooden hut just wasn’t up to scratch.

“There were some difficulties building the new refuge, given the altitude and the position in the midst of a glacier, but we got there in the end.”

Marcel Pohl - Sued For Finishing School Too Quickly

It looks as if finishing with school too quickly can land you in a mess of legal trouble -- at least in Essen, Germany.

Marcel Pohl completed his bachelor's and master's degrees in just three semesters, and now the School of Economics and Management (FOM) is suing the former student for lost income, German newspaper The Local reports.

The degrees normally take about 11 semesters and 60 exams to complete, but the 22-year-old student divvied up lectures and swapped notes with friends in order to speed the process along. Now, his scheme may end up costing him an extra $3,700, according to the paper.
A link to the story was posted on Reddit, where several users expressed admiration for Pohl's speedy strategy.

"You know, for the time wasting I do in 99% of each semester and doing the s*** up 4 hours before final paper's due. I could really use a college that lets me do this (and not sue me afterwards)," Reddit user feureau posted to the forum.

While this school is suing Pohl for allegedly not holding up his end of the bargain, one New York graduate sued her alma mater after she found herself still unemployed months after earning a degree.

Trina Thompson filed suit against Monroe College for $70,000 -- the cost of tuition -- in 2009, claiming the Bronx-based school's Office of Career Advancement didn't do enough to help her get a job in her field, according to the New York Post.
