First Members of Facebook

Before becoming the most popular social networking website in the world, Facebook operated as an internal network for Harvard students, including some people who shared class with Mark Zuckerberg and some others who were Zuckerberg’s roommates and helped him launch the site. As the result, most of the first Facebook accounts belong to Zuckerberg's friends. The social networking website then expanded to friends of friends across campus. It continued expanded to all colleges in the country and then the world.

Chris Hughes, one of Mark Zuckerberg’s roommates and a co-founder of Facebook, is the second member of the site

The third member of the Facebook is Dustin Moskovitz

Dustin Moskovitz is one of Mark Zuckerberg’s roommates and a co-founder of the site. He was the company's first chief technology officer.

The fourth member Arie Hasit - Hasit was not one of Facebook’s founders, but he is a friend of Chris Hughes

The fifth member of the Facebook is Marcel Georges Laverdet

Not studied at Harvard, but Marcel Georges Laverdet is a friends of other Facebook’s founders. After attracting attention of Dustin Moskovitz by hacking on the site, Laverdet was invited to work for this site.

Soleio Cuervo – friends with early Facebook members, including Marcel George Laverdet. He was responsible for the “Like” button on the site

Not studied at Harvard, together with Laverdet, Chris Putnam was hired to work for Facebook after hacking on the site

Andrew McCollum shared a class with Zuckerberg at Harvard. He is the person who design Facebook's first logo

The tenth member of Facebook is Mark Kaganovich. He used to be Mark Zuckerberg’s classmate at Harvard
