Emma Hack, 35 years old, previously worked as a make-up and hair stylist and painted children's faces. The camouflage idea came to the Australian artist in 2005 as inspiration from wallpaper designed by Florence Broadhurst. Then, she discovered her insatiable passion for body painting. Emma Hack has over 20 years for this creative career. Her paintings range from intricate to spectacular and often pool viewers by compelling images.
These exquisite pictures of Emma Hack are definitely the most puzzling work.
Emma once stated, “The collection has a deep environmental message, sometimes appearing very clear but at other times more thought provoking.”
The first body art of Emma took her 19 hours to complete.
Emma has launched a book named Wallpaper Collection 2005-2010 displaying all her works.
Based on the complexity of the design, it takes her from eight to fifteen hours to complete her works.
Painting human body may be an exhausting time for both artist and model; however, the result shows all signs of spectacular.
The compelling and confusing images often fool the viewers.
Emma Hack also shows the delicately interwoven patterns and spectacular montages in her designs.
Hack won the CIDESCIO World Congress Professional World Body Painting Championship in 2001.
Emma Hack likes to paint her models to blend right in the wallpaper.
In some designs, her model stands against the surface to create a 3-D human wallpaper effect
